Hands-On Cooking Classes
Learn
to nourish and nurture yourself by cooking easy and time saving
meals in these monthly “hands-on” cooking
classes. At Discovering Wellness, you will be made
to feel comfortable in the kitchen, preparing and finding out
about “whole food,” in a fun, relaxed, and supportive
environment. Due to our “hands-on” approach you
will discover that you can cook delicious, healthy, nourishing
food for yourself and your family in a short amount of time.
Great for those who have little time but want to be healthy.
Classes are small and are approximately two hours long. At
the end of each class you will get to enjoy a healthy, delicious,
organic meal that has been prepared by you. At classes various
topics will be discussed, such as balancing meals, seasonal
cooking, the energetics of food, the food/mood connection,
and how to use food as a healing tool. Each class will include
a different menu, present a variety of techniques and cooking
methods, and introduce new foods/ingredients.
Classes emphasize various ethnic flares, such as: Asian, Latin
American,
Mediterranean, Indian, Vegetarian, & more.
